Welcome to Cooking with Miss Daisy
I learn’t to cook from a very young age by my mother who was classically french trained. The very first thing I learn’t to cook was a Apple Strudel which I still make to this day. Growing up we only visited supermarkets for the essentials and for all of our fruit and vegetables we went to the market and for our meat to our local butcher.
And now I apply this style of shopping to my everyday life. My mother would refer to the produce we ate as Happy Produce, something I now feel strongly about. Growing up cooking with my mother has instilled my love of traditional cooking.
